The 2011 Tevis 12-Step Program
1. Regain my "Featherweight" designation
2. Ride my horse 3 times a week
3. Take basic dressage lessons 1 time a week
Rain Rain Rain.
4. Train my horse to wear a crupper
5. Work with my saddle & breastcollar adjustments
I think I have this one down. Need new pads for the saddle still.
6. Treadmill workout every morning, Pilates every day at work
7. Ride the Wild West in May
8. Study Tom Iver's "Racehorse Owner's Survival Guide"
9. Train horse to stand still when I'm getting on and off.
10. Organize, plan, and practice for vet checks
11. Pre-ride the trail
12. New horse boots
Still working on boots that will stay on.
